What size book sleeve should you choose? A gentle guide to help you decide

At Bellette Workshop, each cover is carefully crafted to provide your book with a soft, practical, and pretty cocoon.

But with several formats available, it's not always easy to know which one to choose.

Don't panic, here's a little guide to help you make the right choice based on your reading habits :)

Pocket size - 14.5 x 27 cm.

This format is perfect for classic paperback novels or small books . It can hold up to 700 pages , making it a very practical format for everyday use.

Examples of compatible books:

  • Paperback novels (Folio type, Le Livre de Poche, etc.)
  • Small youth formats
  • Small tests

"Manga" size - 16 x 27 cm

Ideal for manga lovers ! It can hold up to 2 volumes of Pika Standard Edition , for example, making it a perfect solution for protecting your favorite volumes.

Perfect for:

  • Standard format manga (like Pika, Kana, Ki-oon, etc.)


Paperback format - 18 x 29 cm

This is the most versatile format if you read A5 paperback novels , often called " large paperbacks ." It is suitable for up to about 400 pages .

Examples:

  • A5 novels (Hugo Roman, Charleston, Lumen...)
  • Small notebooks or notebooks
  • Kindle or Kobo type e-readers

Large format - 20.5 x 31 cm

Designed for hardcover novels , coffee-table books , or large fantasy bricks . It can hold up to 800 pages (or more, depending on the paper thickness).

Examples of compatible books:

  • Collector or illustrated books (Fourth Wing collector)
  • Complete collections (Game of Thrones, etc.)
  • Over 600-page tomes (Crescent City, Sarah J. Maas, etc.)
  • Fine books or illustrated works (Lightfall, etc.)
